Does it play .xba files?

R
Réponse donnée par Robert Polubinski

Yes, the application supports opening XBA files. It's specified and recommended on few websites that the XBA files are supported by the FileViewPro application.

You can download the software using the following link: http://www.fileviewpro.com/en/file-extension-xba

Note: When installing the application, make sure to decline all the other options.

Will FileViewPro open Microsoft files?

Stephen Prastman
Réponse donnée par Stephen Prastman

Yes, the application can view Microsoft Works files. I have installed it and tried to open a Microsoft Works files. The software freezed for a few seconds, but this is normal, it loads all the modules.

There is also a file in the installation directory which indicates that it supports WPS format (the one used for Microsoft Works): FileViewPro.Views.Wps.dll

I have the FileViewPro software installed. However, right now I have the latest versions of Kigsoft Writer and Adobe Reader. Whenever I try to open a PDF file, I get a message that states: "this application has been locked by another application". So I cannot view any PDF attachments to my mails. Is FileViewPro causing this problem? How can I fix it?

The latest version of the program was tested and the behavior that you described wasn't encountered. However, you could experience an Internal error of the application. To fix it, try to change the default program which can open PDF files to Adobe Reader. To do this, right click on a PDF file > Open With > Chose default program > Acrobat Reader. Make sure that the option from the bottom is marked. If this didn't fix your problem, try downloading and installing the latest version of the application. You can do this from the official website.

Can FileViewPro open LBXLLS files? I think they are from Libronix.

S
Réponse donnée par Sean Hill

No, FileViewPro won't open the files, because LBXLLS file format is proprietary. The file can be used only in Libronix 3, however, there are users who managed to open the file in LOGOS application by placing the LBXLLS in the Resources folder (just like in Libronix 3). There is an on-going discussion related to the subject on the official Logos forums. I recommend checking the available forums for more information: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/49967.aspx

I want to transfer some QIC backup files from 3 1/2 floppy discs (from a Windows 98 computer) to my XP computer. Will this program do it?

A
Réponse donnée par Alex Urbach

This is actually a file viewer application. Once it's installed on a computer, it allows you to view various file formats that are supported and specified on the supported list. It will do you no good for your request. You can use the built-in file manager to transfer the files. If you have a floppy drive, insert the discs and then copy the content to your computer with the Windows version you have. Then you can use a USB flash disk to transfer the files to another computer. Floppy disks are known for their bad resistance through time.
